Definition

Saved history is a product feature that stores past writing sessions in an account-scoped, searchable list. It typically supports naming, tagging, searching, and re-editing prior transcripts.

In plain language

A log of everything you've dictated, so you can go back and find it later.

Why it matters

Without saved history, every session is a one-shot. With it, common phrases, past drafts, and reference material stay a click away — the same reason a notes app is more useful than a whiteboard.

How this relates to Zahvox

Saved history is planned for Zahvox. It requires an account and secure storage, so it depends on some of the same infrastructure as accounts and cross-device sync.

Status: Planned for a later Zahvox release. Not scheduled.

Example

You dictate a client update on Monday. Two weeks later, you search 'proposal Alex' and pull it up to reuse a paragraph.
