Legal Center

This is the hub for every Zahvox policy. Use it to jump into the specific policy you need, understand what stage each part of the product is at, and find how to contact Zahvox with legal questions.

On this page
Zahvox is a voice-to-writing platform for people who think faster than they type. The current release is a free web experience. Accounts, saved history, browser extension, desktop app, personas, writing modes, team workflows, and paid plans are planned. The policies below reflect that product stage and will be updated as new features ship.
Section 01

Legal overview

The Zahvox Legal Center exists so anyone using the site or the free tool can understand what is happening with their information, what rules apply to their use of the product, and what to expect as new features are introduced.

Zahvox tries to keep legal pages short, clear, and honest. The current stage is early. Policies are written to reflect what the product actually does today, not what it may do later.

Section 02

Product status reminder

Live today: The free web voice-to-text tool, live transcript, editable transcript, copy and download, and free writing utilities under /free-tools.

In development: Browser extension, text injection into input fields, professional toggle, basic formatting, and AI cleanup.

Planned: Desktop app, mobile app, plugins, login and accounts, saved history, personas, writing modes, team workflows, and paid plans.

Policies mentioning planned features are written in advance so users can see how those features will be handled when they ship.

Section 03

User trust and transparency

Zahvox commits to a small set of transparency rules across every legal page:

  • No fake claims about compliance certifications (such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR) unless independently verified.
  • No fake billing, refund guarantees, or plan details.
  • No fake testimonials, fake user counts, or fake company registration details.
  • Clear labels for what is live, in development, or planned.

Section 05

How to read these policies

Each policy is written in plain language and organized into short numbered or labeled sections. On desktop, a sidebar lists all policies and the sections inside the current page. On mobile, a "On this page" panel expands the same list.

Every legal page includes a Last updated date, related policy cards, a contact block, and a reminder that the policy is provided for transparency and product information — not legal advice.

Section 06

Security and trust

Security and privacy practices are described on the Security page. It sits under the Company section of the site rather than Legal, because it covers day-to-day product decisions in addition to policy. Legal Center links to it here as a related trust page.

Section 07

Updates and contact

Policies may change as the product grows, additional features ship, or applicable laws evolve. Material changes will be noted at the top of the affected page. To reach the Zahvox team about a policy question, use the contact page or email hello@zahvox.com.

This page is provided for transparency and product information. It is not legal advice. Zahvox should have these policies reviewed by a qualified legal professional before public launch or paid billing. Policies may change as the product evolves — the last updated date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
