Licensing Info

This page describes how the Zahvox brand, product, screenshots, and content may be used. It also outlines planned licensing rules for the future API, browser extension, desktop app, and plugin integrations.

On this page
Zahvox intellectual property — including the Zahvox name, logo, product design, source code, and content — is protected by intellectual property laws. Personal and legitimate business use is encouraged; misuse and misrepresentation are not.
Section 01

1. Use of Zahvox

You may use the free Zahvox web voice-to-text experience and free utilities for personal and business writing tasks, subject to the Terms of Service.

Section 02

2. Personal use

You may use Zahvox to dictate personal notes, journal entries, emails, drafts, ideas, study notes, and any writing intended for your own use.

Section 03

3. Business use

Founders, freelancers, agencies, consultants, salespeople, virtual assistants, and other professionals may use Zahvox to draft internal notes, client-facing messages, proposals, and similar writing, subject to the Terms. Additional business terms may apply once paid plans and team workflows are introduced.

Section 04

4. Future paid plans

When paid plans are introduced, additional licensing rules may apply — for example, per-seat licensing for teams, or usage-based limits for high-volume workflows. Those rules will be documented on the Pricing page and in the account or checkout flow.

Section 05

5. Restrictions

Do not present Zahvox as your own product. Do not remove or obscure the Zahvox brand from screenshots used to demonstrate the tool. Do not use Zahvox in a way that violates the Terms of Service, the Disclaimer, or applicable law.

Section 06

6. No resale or copying

Do not resell access to Zahvox, redistribute the product, or copy the site design, source code, or branding as if it were your own. Do not scrape or bulk-download content from the site to republish it.

Section 07

7. API, extension, and plugin licensing

An official API, browser extension, desktop app, and plugin integrations are planned. When they ship, each will come with its own license terms that describe what developers and end users can and cannot do with them. Until those documents are published, no third-party integration is officially supported.

Section 08

8. Intellectual property

The Zahvox name and logo are trademarks of the founder. The product design, source code, and site content are copyrighted. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Section 09

9. Brand assets and screenshots

Journalists, bloggers, teachers, and community members may use short screenshots of the Zahvox website or the free tool for legitimate editorial or educational purposes. Please do not modify the logo or wordmark. If you need higher-resolution assets or clarification, please contact us.
