Saved history for voice-to-writing
Saved history will keep every session you want to keep — the raw transcript, any cleaned version, the mode and persona used, and the version you actually sent — and let you search it later. Saved history is planned. Today the free web tool does not store anything between visits.
Saved history is planned for Zahvox. Today users can copy or download the text from the free web tool between sessions — nothing is stored on a Zahvox server. Saved history will let signed-in users keep and search past transcripts and outputs.
This feature is planned. The current Zahvox web tool does not include this yet.
What saved history means
- · Saved history is a personal library of the sessions you keep.
- · It will store the raw transcript, cleaned draft, mode, persona, and final version.
- · Sessions will be titled, dated, and searchable.
- · History will be private-by-default and opt-in.
- · Export and delete will ship together so nothing is locked in.
Why this matters
- · People who write a lot repeat themselves in useful ways.
- · The client story you told once becomes a case study later.
- · A rough walk-thought becomes an outline for next week.
- · Without a searchable record, that repetition is lost.
How saved history may work in Zahvox

- · Each saved session stores transcript, cleaned draft, mode, and persona.
- · Search across titles, dates, and text.
- · Export any session or the whole history as text; delete anything or all of it.

- · Copy or download the text from /tool before you close the tab.
- · Keep dated notes in your own tool: one file per week or per project.
- · Use the voice notes cleaner, email generator, or meeting formatter on saved text later.

Current limitations
- · Saved history is not live in the free web tool today.
- · Accounts are also planned, so there is no place to store history yet.
- · AI cleanup is in development, so 'cleaned version' rows will fill later.
- · Long speech sessions still depend on browser speech recognition behavior.
- · Team-level history depends on the planned team workspace.
